Saigon DinningFIND GREAT RESTAURANTS AROUND SAIGONSaigon is a fantastic city for people dedicated to eating out regularly. The range and variety of restaurants on offer in Saigon is astounding, if you wanted to, you could sample a different national cuisine everyday of the month. So below we highlight some restaurants worth trying, and feature some of my personal favorites from around Ho Chi Minh City. FEATURED RESTAURANTS![]() Saigon Dining: Five minutes walk from Notre Dame Cathedral, Creperies & Cafe is a quiet and comfy restaurant right in the heart of district one that serves exquisite food. With a menu that focuses on crepes, it offers meals that are not too heavy and not too light, and are perfect for any time of the day. ![]() Saigon Dining: Black Cat is place expats visit when they want a hamburger. The menu here offers some of the biggest and tastiest burgers around, and if you can handle it also offers a 1.4kg bacon and cheese burger. ![]() Saigon Dining: This Brazilian barbeque restaurant is definitely for those who love eating meat and nothing else. This is because at Au Lac Do Brazil they serve a Brazilian style churrascaria, which is basically an all-you-can-eat 12 course selection of barbequed meats. ![]() Saigon Dining: Located close to District 1, Dong Ho is one of those typical open-air restaurants that Vietnamese love to visit in the evening. Centered on a small lake and surrounded by tall trees, Dong Ho is relaxing and vibrant restaurant at which to experience typical Vietnamese dinning. ![]() Saigon Dining: This one is a little way to go, but located on the side of the river it offers quite a peaceful and laid-back dining experience. With a cool breeze it is very relaxing sitting back and enjoying a pleasant meal while watching the reeds drift by on the river. |
